Join or Host a Viewing Party for Moyer's First Show

On Wednesday, April 25 at 9:00 PM Bill Moyers Journal begins. www.FreePress.net is creating viewing parties around the country so people can get together to watch and talk about what they see. Some of you may wish to either attend or host such a gathering. Here is information that was sent in an effort to get people to host a viewing party locally:

"Host a Party with Bill Moyers on April 25
Join thousands of Media Reformers, in a discussion with Bill Moyers about the ways Big Media was complicit in shaping the "public mind" on the Iraq war?

In addition to watching Moyers' newest documentary, "Buying the War," he will also be available to answer your questions during an exclusive conference call with Free Press activists around the country.

Hosting is simple. You invite your friends, colleagues and family (we'll also invite local Free Press activists if you'd like) and we'll give you straightforward step-by-step instructions about hosting your event. You just need a living room, TV, speakerphone to join the conference call, a printer, and some chairs.

We're happy to answer any questions you may have along the way (view our hosting guide or frequently asked questions page for more information).

The movement for better media begins in your community. Take the lead, help engage your neighbors, and help take back our media one town at a time.
